Rotary Club of Madras - District 3230

Club Fellowships

Fellowship is the Bedrock of Rotary.  Rotary International was formed on the basic tenet of Fellowship.

Rotary Fellowships offer Rotarians an opportunity to create strong bonds of friendships with other Members, as also strengthen existing relationships.  Rotary Meetings, Committee Meetings & Project Visits also foster fellowship amongst Members.

Rotary Club of Madras lays special emphasis on Fellowship as a medium for promoting camaraderie and bonhomie.  Lasting friendships are born and built as a result of being Rotarians.

Throughout the year, Members of Rotary Club of Madras are invited to one or more “Fireside” Fellowships.  Such “Fireside” Fellowships bring smaller groups of Rotarians together, thus, enabling higher level of interaction.  Members are encouraged to host “Fireside” Fellowships at their homes.

In addition, at least 8 Full Club Fellowships are organized every year.  As the term denotes, Full Club is open to all the Members.  Full Club Fellowships are hosted by an individual, or by groups based on classification or groups formed randomly from amongst the Members.

Over the years, groups of Chartered Accountants, Doctors, Past Presidents, Bankers and Members of The Madras Club have hosted Full Club Fellowships.  The hosts go the extra mile to make the fellowships enjoyable, thematic and aimed at promoting better friendships.

Rotary Club of Madras follows a practice of inviting potential members to such Fellowships, prior to their induction into the Club.
